My boyfriend and I booked this hotel because this was one of the only places that had a poker room in the casino. We didn't have a high expectation of the hotel, but it fell way below our expectations. The hotel was as good as motel-quality at an overpriced rate (we paid $180 for a jacuzzi room). Here is a... more

Where do I start. The hotel is terrible. Its run down, smells and not well taken care of. Same with the casino. Its very old with a musty smell. Forget about winning money there. They were voted loosest slots. How????????????????? I have no clue. Do yourself a favor. Stay and gamble somewhere else. more

Really not a bad place. We had a comp room to stay here. The room was clean and the bathroom was clean too. The room faced the lake however it was noisy due to the train tracks outside of the window. No fancy amenties. The negative is that there is no bar at the hotel. They have shut it down.... more

It is no wonder that Donald Trump unloaded this pile of crap. They should have just torn the hotel down...It should be condemned. The place is disgusting! Our room was filthy! The carpet looked like it was about 50 years old...you couldn't even tell what the original color was because it was so dirty and full of holes. The drapes... more

The bad reviews almost scared us away. Glad they didn't. We had just a great time. We had a room on the 4th floor overlooking the lake and casinos... gorgeous view. The room was very clean... cleaner than the Super 8 we stayed at on the way home. We didn't care for the buffet place there though, so each day... more

My husband and I had a gift certificate for this place from my parents. They are out in New Jersey and purchased it, on line, when it was a Trump hotel. They had no way of knowing the quality, they just went by the name. We had stayed here about 4 years ago and as a Trump it was disappointing... more

I was going out to meet friends in the chicago area and found a 69.99 per night coupon with free breakfasts for my entire stay. The hotel was nice, nothing extravagnet, but a clean Holiday Inn Express-style experience. The free breakfasts were outstanding, much better than other hotels of this caliber. Plus, there's a great casino next door and the... more

My husband & I have been to many hotels at least half-way around the world and have never encountered a hotel that tells the houskeeping staff to leave ONE hand towel per room, not very hygienic. I complained three times before we got an extra towel, this was the second day. We stayed at the hotel when it was Trump,... more

The room was dirty and expensive. We did get a free breakfast which would have been good if we could find a waitress. Our Blanket was itchy and full of holes. the room had an odor. NO comparison to the other hotels in the area at other local casinos. Will never stay there again more

This hotel was very disappointing especially since it had Trump's name on it. The hotel room was average, but it smelled like mildew The bed and bathroom were decent. The breakfast food was not good. And the casino... The Trump Casino and the Majestic Casino are not amazing. The tables hardly pay. I won on a 25 cents slot machine... more
