My husband and I stayed at the Fairmont for 4 days. To be honest, the only reason we stayed there was due to the reduced rate offered by the hotel, as this was a business trip. It was a beautiful hotel, the lobby exuded a serene atmosphere. I felt the same way about our room. The shower was very nice... more

I was concerned about the $49 parking. There is a public lot right across the street. However, we were running late for dinner reservations with friends, and there was a line to get in, so we opted to drop the car at the $49 parking. Check-in was easy. We were in 2619, facing the lake, if you looked through the... more

Celebrated the 3rd of July fireworks with my family.....First of all-the best thing we ever did was sign up for the Presidents club. Their frequent user club is fantastic. We have stayed at many of thier hotels and they are always an experience. We were absolutely surprised at how nice this hotel was. We have been disappointed by the hotels... more

We stayed at the Fairmont Chicago last nite, a place we have stayed at multiple times before. Our room had been re-done and not for the better. The Fairmont use to reflect the turn of the century French style of the original Fairmont in San Franciso and had a lovely soigne feel about it. The new room style is like... more

My first time in Chicago and my first time in a 'luxury' (at least compaired to what i'm used to) did not disappoint. From when we checked in until we checked out this hotel was amazing. To begin with, we booked through Hotels.com and got a decent price for St. Patrick's Day weekend. (Sub $1000 for Fri - Tues) Our... more

Just back from a three-night stay at the Fairmont. I was really happy with this hotel. The staff (from the check-in, concierge, wait staff, etc.) are on the ball and do not miss a beat. They seem to know EVERYTHING about Chicago. They were so helpful in booking restaurants, tours etc. The rooms are a very generous size and have... more

I went there for a 4 day conference and loved it. I travel 50% of the time in my job, usually 3-4 star hotels. The location is great, there is a wonderful sushi bar in the lobby, the bartenders were friendly. I would definitely go there again. more

We recently spent 4 nights at The Fairmont and were most impressed with the excellent customer service - the staff were all extremely friendly and most helpful. Our room was recently refurbished and spotless, the bed was really comfortable. Our nightly rate included breakfast which was so well worth it. I definitely would recommend this hotel! more

This was my second stay at the Fairmont. The first visit was during the week for a business event at this hotel, and the second visit was over a weekend for a pleasure trip. The conference facilities and catering were top notch. The lobby was under renovation at the time of my second visit. I did not have a newly... more

This was a great hotel. Full service for a reasonable price ($249/night for me). The room was very nice. I had a 42" LCD in the room which also had a dock/speakers for my iPod. They also had a nice little box that you could use to hook other components to the television if you had brought them. Be sure... more
