My wife and I wanted to spend our 1 year anniversary at a special place and it seemed like the ideal place to spend it. I booked a room with a King size bed 3 and a half months in advance. When I got there they gave me room keys to a bedroom with 2 small beds and 2 baths.... more

Just returned from a girls weekend at Lago Mar and really enjoyed it. Probably the best feature of this property is the beach... it is a nice,clean stretch of sandy beach, and if you're in an oceanfront suite as we were, you are literally on top of the beach. We recently returned from the Lago Mar. After a great three day stay in 2007, we decided to return for a week this summer and are glad we did. The rooms are spacious and clean. Just returned from our 3rd stay at Lago Mar for seven nights. Resort is still well maintained since last visit in 06 and staff is very accomodating. Beach is beautiful, pools could be alittle cleaner though. Lots of kids poolside so families are the majority here.
