“A room with a window seat”

Very small room with queen bed. Clean, and quiet except for a dog somewhere down the hall. Heater/cooler worked efficiently and without too much noise--a rare treat. Overall effect: basic motel which did its job with no fanfare but no faults, either. One nice touch was an upholstered window seat as a sitting place in the room. Free breakfast was... more

Only 2 hotels at this exit and the other one was full. Now I know why it's called MICROtel. The rooms aren't much bigger than a closet. The TV was on top of the cabinet for hanging up clothes - no closet in the room. No hair dryer in the bathroom. Only ice machine located in the lobby. Staff was... more

Had a house fire and the insurance company set us up here for 10 nights. They cleaned our room 5 times. apparently if they come by your room at 7 am and the do not disturb sign is on the door that extends throughout the entire day even when you take it off the door as you leave at 7:30.... more
