The room I had was real noisy. I was in room 1117 and the traffic noise and vibration was bad- car alarms, car horns, police sirens etc. Some of the other rooms seem to be sheltered so they should be less noisy and I asked to be moved to be told they had no rooms – I don’t buy this,... more

Best hotel in CCS, no doubt!!!! Sure, it's expensive - but I would say it's worth the money. The location could be better, but since you only a 5 min drive from the bigger shopping places, I still think it's great. The pool on there roaf top, is a must see (and use!). My last check in was over in... more

We have previously stayed at the Tamanaco hotel which is terrible, we booked here because Marriotts are nothing if not consistent. Overall our experience was very good, check in was prompt and efficient – they did charge us a whole extra nights’ accommodation for a 9am check in which was a bit excessive though. The room was good Marriott standard,... more

I have stayed at many JW's, usually they are very good properties. The fisrt night I lay down on the bed it felt old, too soft - thin mattress. I requested a change of mattress and instaed they put two doors (yes two doors) between the mattress and the box spring to make it more firm but did not work.... more

Have stayed at this Hotel as well as most of the other luxury hotels in CCS Venezuela. I have been visiting Caracas about 6 to 8 weeks/ times a year since 1999. The lack of Hotel rooms coupled with the currency controls in the country have caused room rates to sky rocket and service to dive. I can accept paying... more

You'll notice from reading reviews of hotels on this site that generally the hotels in Caracas are really expensive and fraught with weaknesses. The Marriott is a good business hotel, and is a good choice among a bad selection. Because the city is so very expensive, weaknesses stand out. At about $300 a night, one expects excellence, but that's not... more

I wrote a review of the JWMarriott Caracas a couple years and have stayed there a few times since. Just like in the title of this review ... it's the same hotel, different floor. I generally like the hotel (though can be pricy) but has always been a reliable, convenient and quality place to stay. Is it a 5 star?... more

The Staff of JW Marriott Caracas was terrible. You have to pay $20 for parking daily. The room service was Okay but they take a lot of time. One day I ate my breakfast in the terrace and my bill was really expensive. This is probably the worst JW Marriott Hotel in South America. The only thing I love about... more

I was in Caracas for business but my stay in the hotel was a pleasure. This hotel was an excellent choice to stay in Caracas. The room was confortable and clean and the amenities were excellent. Also the gym is good for relaxation and the food in the restaurant is delicious. I highly recommend the JW Marriott Hotel more

I have stayed at this hotel on 3 occassions between June 2006 and May 2007. This review is a conglomerate of those stays. Overall and considering the cost of this hotel, I reluctantly have to say it is one of the worst in Sth America. I say reluctantly because it is a brand new building; in a great location but... more
