This wonderful B&B is situated in the desert, on the outskirts of Phoenix. It is surrounded by exceptional vistas and clear starry skies, far away from the bustle of the city. Billie and Johnny are the hosts and are a complete delight. They are quick with a story of the Old West and Billie's charm makes for wonderful conversation. They... more

My husband and I stayed at the Hideout at RedBuck Ranch during a recent stay in Scottsdale. We've been to the area several times but this was the first time we stayed at the ranch. We were looking for a place where we felt well taken care of and able to relax and the Hideout provided exactly what we sought.... more

John and Billie run a first class B&B. The place is great. The pool and hot tub with the mountain view is wonderful. They treat you like a friend and are always helpful with ideas that help make your stay to the area more enjoyable. The Hideout as they call it, is the most relaxing place to read or write.... more

We arrived at the RBR in a Arizona monsoon rain storm, which never having experienced the beauty of this particular event and being from the northwest ( the rain belt) I couldn't believe the intensity of the sky. The jade green backdrop along with the spiny fingers of lighting and pelting rain made this adventure a milestone for me and... more

You can just about imagine what the place looked like when Billie and Johnnie first built Redbuck, when there wasn't another property for miles. Now the houses are starting to encroach, but the place still feels so remote that you could be on your own, in the middle of nowhere. If you want to be able to walk to the... more

We stayed at the Redbuck Ranch (a.k.a. The Hideout) in late August and early September of 2007 for a total 7 days. This review could be pages and pages long filled with compliments, but I will limit it to my favorite things. First off, the owners Billie and Johnnie, are wonderful, wonderful people. They treated us with such respect, and... more

Red Buck Ranch is truly an AMAZING, one-of-a-kind experience! The owners, Billie and Johnny, really know how to immediately help you to relax and feel like family plus they know how to give you the privacy, you deserve in their haven in the desert. 'The Hideout', as they so appropriately named it, is beautifully appointed. They left nothing to want... more

The Redbuck Ranch located in North Scottsdale is the perfect place to relax (or not) amid Northern Sonoran desert surroundings. Hang out on the 2nd story patio of the "Hideout" in the early mornings or evenings and watch the desert wildlife come to life. We stayed here for three nights in late May '07 and we saw hawks, jackrabbits, roadrunners,... more

We just returned from a 5 night stay at the Redbuck ranch. Very secluded and private. Billie and Johnny are the owners and are very friendly and helpful. The hideout is located at the back of the house it's a private suite with use of the pool and spa whenever you want. The pool and spa are faboulous and so... more

Me and my new husband stayed at John and Billie's ranch for 1 night on our way to Sedona last week. It was fantastic!! From the moment we got there, they were so welcoming. Their ranch is pretty secluded and has a great view of the mountains (from the bathroom and the kitchen). The ranch is actually their home with... more
