We were with a group tour that booked us in the Tritone, so we didn't have a choice. We wish we did. Rooms had old furnishings, were not very clean and very noisy -- walls were thin and street noise was incessant. Breakfasts were not bad, as others have noted. But there are many better choices in Buenos Aires --... more
so i just got back from my trip to buenos aires. it was a lot of fun and i wanted to give feedback on my stay. fyi: i booked 2 nights here on travelres.com (and it was reliable with good customer service) and 2 nights through latinamerica4less.com also, i am 29 years old with lots of travel experience and went... more
Out of 21 nights in Argentina this was the only place that we didn't check out on Tripadvisor before booking. We were therefore quite worried after reading some of the 1.0 reviews. However, our own experience was okay. The negatives - quite noisy due to thin walls, doors and the lift machinery. 1980s decor that really needs updating. The positives... more
Very bad hotel! It's not a four stars and the street where is located is not recommended. There are serious problems with the Fen management. We received the dirtiest and darkest room we ever stayed. I asked for an upgrade and we moved to Dazzler Libertad. This was a better hotel but more expensive and rooms were little. My boots... more
I stayed at this hotel in February of 2007. Here are some of the reasons why I do not recommend anybody staying at this hotel: 1) An Ipod was stolen from my room. 2) When I complained to the manager, he told me that all he could do was offer me a free night's stay on my next trip. (like... more
It's supposed to be 4 stars, but it’s just a 3. Don't waste your money. The room was very noisy and we pay for a king room and they give us a twin. The breakfast is ok. more
Hi! The hotel is an old building but most hotels in Buenos Aires are like that. The buffet breakfast is small but very good. The service is good too. The location is excellent! Just 1 block away from Florida street where many stores are located. It's safe even at nights when there is not much people outside. The rooms are... more
We had made the reservation weeks before and were given the noisiest (elevator equipment heating unit) and dirtiest room I have ever stayed in. This is not a 4 star hotel. We got out the next day and paid the same amount at a truly 4 star hotel. (Elevage) If you can afford it the Howard Johnson is excellent. more
The hotel is supposed to be a 4 star but this hotel is more like a 3 star. Our room was spacious (but very hot - even in Winter!) and a bit dated. The staff are really helpful and the room service was very quick. We paid 80USD per night and think that we paid too much for the standard... more
