Although Tamarindo wasn't ideal for us, Luna llena suited all of our needs. Reasonable price for a solid clean cabin with lots of room. The staff at Luna Llena are what make this place one to return to. The italian (I think) folks who run the property are fantastic and can help arrainge all of your travel or tour needs.... more

We just came back from a trip to Tamarindo, where we were lucky enough to stay at La Luna Llena Hotel. We couldn't have picked a better place. Its location is just perfect, just a short walk from the beach and Tamarindo restaurants/shops. I stayed there with two of my friends during July 2005. We stayed in a detached villa with an upstairs and downstairs. It had a decent kitchen where you could store food and cook. The bathroom was larger. There was a large bed on the first floor and several singles upstairs. Very clean, very comfortable. Nice pool. Nice breakfast outside... more
