We visited the Le Royal Hammamet hotel for one week during August 2008. The staff and hotel were excellent. In fact we had a problem during the week which was not directly connected to the hotel and they helped us to solve it. Food: a great variety, but a little boring after five or six days. It may be better... more

Had a lovely suite overlooking the pool, service was very good, we had half board, breakfast and dinner, but were fully expecting not to like the food and go out and eat in the evening, but the buffet was so good, we ate in every evening and just went out to the Marina area for late night coffee and ice... more

3 stars maximum. Very old building, spacious but dirty rooms. The hotel was half empty in May, so the hotel staff did not even bother to cook or clean properly. The only thing I liked about the hotel was the garden. SPA center is not worth a visit – smelly, no value for money. more

Was looking for a quiet week with my husband and teenage daughters with sunshine, great location, great service and good price, and found Le Royal. We went the week before European Easter Holidays and got what we were looking for. Arrived after a horrible journey at 3am and the chef had prepared a cold plate and a waiter took care... more

A recent visit to Le Royal was very successful, probably more so than we had expected. Although some aspects of the hotel don't really match what may be expected for a 5-star establishment, in general this was a remarkably positive experience. The hotel is ten years old this year, and so the rooms are not exactly the height of luxury... more

We stayed here at the end of European 'half term' in autumn 2006 - just overlapping by a couple of days. The room was OK, not really what we would expect from a 5* but it essentially a package hotel so we reckon that normally reduces the room facilities and decor by at least 1 star equivalent. At first the... more

5 November - 12 November 2006 Reviewers: Two moderately frequent American travelers (up to 5-6 trips per year). We travel independently and generally don't look to the facility to provide distractions for us. Among the hotel options for a tour group traveling from Moscow, the Le Royal Hammamet seemed a reasonable choice compared to the other options in our package.... more

We stayed at this hotel for the easter break and our impression may have been colored by the weather but given that they are sending guests there out of season and there is no resort to speak of, 20/25 minute walk to the nearest resturant, i would have expected the hotel entertainment to be much better. We were told that... more
