“Hotel not bad and the rat was cute”

Spent just one night here. It was alright. The room was cleanish, the rat looked cute and was easy to catch to put outside. The only food for dinner was a buffet which was tasteless. It was all worth it as we seen 2 tigers in the park the next morning! After our early morning safari we were offered breakfast... more

I was misled by the Ankur Resort website which shows nice outside cottages and a swimming pool. Despite booking in person and having an email confirming my booking in a cottage, we arrived to find all the cottages were full. Instead we were put in a dingy little room in the (grim) main building with rock hard pillows and damp... more

Our group size was about 15. The hotel staff picked us up from the Sawai Mahoupur train station and took us to the hotel which is about 7 minutes away. The staff was courteous throughout and even took custom food orders for daily meals. They arranged for our booking for a trip to the sanctuary which went on time and... more
