I must also rave about the Sol Y Luna hotel in the sacred valley. The surrounding scenery are simply breath taking and the accomodations are just wonderful. It was lovely to come out of the Jungle and into the mountains and this beautiful hotel. The room was spacious and well appointed and the bathroom was quite luxurious. Most enjoyable of... more

The Sol y Luna looks like it jumped off the front of a post card. The grounds are GORGEOUS. The surrounding mountains help give you a feeling that you are nestled in a special place. Flowers were in bloom all around the property even though it was the middle of winter. We had a 2 story bungalow, #5. The room... more

We were dreading staying at this hotel after a couple of bad experiences in the earlier part of the tour. However on arrival our fears evaporated. The hotel grounds are beautiful and the cottages are well appointed with just enough facilities for an enjoyable stay. The restaurant was also excellent although the food was a little cold on arrival. We... more

Probably the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed at anywhere in the world. The rooms were spacious and beautiful. The views were beyond description. The staff were all wonderful and the food in the restaurant was some of the finest I have eaten anywhere. Great place and great value. more

The Sol y Luna is one of the most beautiful hotels in which I've stayed. Each "room" is a round, individual bungalow with a porch and front garden. The grounds are idyllic, and the "Latin/Zen" bungalows are ideal for escaping the world. Each bungalow is spacious with nice closets and huge, beautiful bathrooms. Everything was clean, crisp and lent itself... more

Two days before we were scheduled to fly to Lima I discovered that my husband's passport was missing and as a result we had to cancel our trip. Two hotels, Sol y Luna and Reserva Amazonica had been prepaid. The difference in the handling of our unfortunate experience was surprising. We were scheduled to arrive at the Reserva Amazonica in... more

The Sol y Luna Lodge was the second hotel spot for our Adventures by Disney tour of Peru. The hotel was absolutely amazing! It will go down as my best hotel experience. The hotel is nestled in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, and each party is given a bungalow with a beautiful garden right outside each porch. The bathrooms... more

We stayed in a family casita for 3 nights in early June. The grounds of this property are absolutely gorgeous and very well kept. The room was spacious, but I felt the linens could have been better. The bedspreads have seen better days. The bathroom was very nice with lots of travertine or limestone tile. Unfortunately we heard lots of... more

We had only one nights stay at this hotel as part of a busy itineray travelling around Peru which was such a shame as this was a very good hotel with beautiful gardens to enjoy together with a great location. The staff were extremely polite and made us feel special during our stay. The rooms are in round lodges surounded... more

We were very excited for this stay after hiking the Inca Trail for 4 days. The grounds of the hotel and the rooms are beautiful. Unfortuntely, that is where the positives end. We woke up on the second day with ants everywhere. There were ants in the bed, ants on the bathroom towels and ants on the floors. We feel... more
