This is your typical 'factory hotel' - horrid place. Service is poor, English is poor, food is poor, rooms are poor (standrad, boring, smoke smell etc) ...pretty much your standard Intercontinental. Absolutely nothing positive to say. Thought long and hard but nothing of any note that is above 'standard'. Seoul in itself I found to be dreary and grey too. more

A good hotel. Courteous staff, very good fitness centre, good restaurants and easily accessible transport options. Connected to the Coex mall and convention centre, so lots of options for food and shopping. Internet access is good. more

The hotel looks beautiful from outside. Actually their room looks very updated, but my recent stay was very disappointing. First, the font desk staffs are friendly, but seemed poorly trained. They could only speak very basic English. Although our room looked updated at first, douvet on our bed seemed it hasn't been washed for weeks, and underneath it was the... more

What can I say...it's an Intercontinental. The bed's were great, the bathroom nice and spacious & I like the robes. The rooms could have used an update, but it's far from horrible. I heard the gym was impressive and definitely above par from colleagues, unfortunately I purposefully left my running shoes at home. The Concierge is fantastic...definitely make use of... more

This is a lovely modern hotel. My room was not big but had nice views and was clean and well kitted out (fresh fruit every day). The gym is the biggest I have ever seen - 18 running machines, 18 bikes etc and a nice lap pool. Breakfast in the Brasserie has everything you can think of - Korean,Japanese, American,... more

Hotel is really nice and connected to the coex shopping mall. I made one mistake to wait for the airport bus that goes to this hotel. It's just as easy to go to the city air terminal and walk the 5min through the mall to the hotel (all inside). Then there are no intermediate stops and the bus runs more... more

This is a good hotel for the business traveller who is either working in the area, or attending a conference at COEX. For the tourist, it's a bit far to the main attractions. The train station is linked to the hotel, so you have to walk for about 15 minutes through the mall (full of youth hanging out with their... more

Stayed twice at this hotel in November whilst over visiting family , and on both occasions found it to be very organised efficient hotel. It is more geared towards the business user than the holidaymaker and it is not cheap when you are not on expences. However it quality of the food and service we found to be very high.... more

My wife and I stayed at the Coex Intercontinental Hotel Seoul for 1 night on Thursday Nov. 15. It was our second time staying there. The lobby is modern, grand, and well kept. Service is great. Lobby staff speak English. Room is well designed with comfortable beds and a good view of the city. The grandest benefit of staying there... more

The room we recieved was nothing special. We had just arrived from beijing where we recieved a much nicer hotel for less money. The rooms were a bit motel-ish, and the room service was outrageously expensive. 12 us dollars for a glass of juice? We will never stay with Intercontinental again. more
