I stayed at the hotel for business. Admittedly, this was my first trip to Jordan, let alone the Middle East. So I had no expectations and was somewhat wary especially when seeing the recent negative reviews on this site. I can say that my experience was excellent and exceeded expectations. The staff is incredibly out-going and friendly and try to... more

Amazing Hotel. Excellent and welcoming lobby and great service at front desk. Rooms are spacious and well furnished, very luxurious and comfortable. All food outlets in the hotel are exceptional expecially the Chinese restaurant. The manager there at the time, Mr Akeel ensured that I received perfect attention, always and treated like VIP. Thank You. Dont miss out on this... more

I wanted so bad to give this hotel a higher rating, if only for its staff enthusiasm and friendliness but unfortunately the hotel's problems are just too many to ignore. The hotel has a nice lobby and a huge variety of restaurants and 2 very pleasant swimming pools, but that is where the good thins stop. My room was huge... more

I decided to write this note to share my experience with the travelers to Amman who are looking for a five stars hotel. I have recently stayed in Le Meridien Amman thinking that its is one of the best 5 stars hotels as recommended by my travel agent. Unfortunately it was not the case at all. When I first arrived,... more

We spent three nights in Le Meridien Amman in late February 2008, as part of an organised group. Some good aspects, but also a number of downsides. Room very comfortable, full range of en suite facilities, good size bed, TV had sporadic reception and limited selection, food good, service generally OK but some inconsistencies. Only on day 3 did we... more

I am interested that the reviews for the Le Meridien are somewhat mixed. I have stayed in a number of different "5 Star" hotels in Amman (linked with either Starwood/Sheraton, or Priority Club, and found Le Meridien to be one of the better offers. Amman is a compact but disorienting city built on a number of hills and valleys, and... more

After staying in several fabulous hotels in Egypt--a country that knows how to cater to foreign tourists--I was somewhat disappointed by my stay at the Le Meridien in Amman. The room was an average business class room. The air conditioning was not working properly in the room and it was stuffy. I opened the window to get some fresh air... more

On a Bales tour to Jordan and this was our first 2 nights hotel. Arrived late due to baggage delays but check-in was speedy and bags arrived in the room almost instantly. Large clean room and the biggest "king-size" bed I have ever slept in. Food OK but do ask for "no-smoking" section as all Jordanians seem to smoke all... more

Le Meridien Amman left me with completely mixed feelings. I chose the property because I have had good experiences with the Meridien group across the world. So did this one match it? Well, maybe. First the premise itself. The Meridien is located in the central business district in Amman, and that makes it a convenient location for business travelers. The... more

I have stayed at a number of starwood properties, and this was by far the best run. The room was immaculate and very very quiet, the staff on my floor was excessively helpful, and the room service was cheap and DELICIOUS. They actively took care of me and made sure everything was the way I wanted. And the lobby bar... more
