We stayed at Muang Samui easter 2007. unfortunately we came on the day of songkran - the people throwing water were camped outside the hotel all day and night. While we were waiting to be checked in we saw several couples all coming back to the hotel looking like drowned rats. So, thankfully we were booked into a Royal suite... more
