My boyfriend and I decided to stay at Fern Paradise based on all the wonderful reviews on Tripadvisor and we were not disappointed!! The service is unbeatable as Om and his family live on the property and make you feel so welcome! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we always felt at home here! The hotel... more

I stayed at Fern Paradise from Jun3-6, 2008. I wish I had stayed longer. Khun Niwat, architect and owner, has created a true retreat from city life. In the midst of the tranquility of the grounds, it is easy to forget that you are so close to a major city. The refurbished rice barns, hidden amongst the various fern species,... more

This place is exactly how others have described it. Our train to Chang Mai was 2 hours late, but the owner's son was still there waiting for us when we arrived! Fern Paradise is family run and lives right there so they definitely take care of the place as if it was their own house (because it is!) The owner... more

Stayed here for 4 nights on our honeymoon last month at the end of our travels around Asia. We booked purely based on the reviews on Tripadvisor and against the advice of our travel agent. This truly is the most romantic and special place andI wont repeat all the thingsother reviwers have said. My thoughts are * DON'T book if... more

We are a couple from Italy. We stayed 3 nights in this fabolous small resort last May. We have booked at this place on the basis on the amazing reviews we found on this website, and everything we had read was true! If you want to stay far from the crowd, but still conveniently near to the city, this is... more

We stayed at the beautiful fern paradise for 4 nights during which we celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary. We couldnt have wished for a more amazing place to celebrate our special day. The family made us feel so special and even left a lovely bouquet of flowers in our room with their best wishes for our anniversary. The family... more

This was my first trip to Chiang Mai, and I was traveling alone. I arrived unexpectedly on a rainy evening, one day early. Om and his family did not miss a beat and went out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable, bringing fresh fruit to my room when I said I was too tired for dinner.... more

This family-run bed and breakfast is outside the hustle and bustle of Chiang Mai's center. The distance was no issue at all as the proprietors arranged for a cab to deliver us into the center of town and pick us up. Our guestroom was an individual treehouse-like hut which we accessed by climbing a staircase to a large landing, with... more

Not seeing this place in any of the guidebooks, we were a bit hesitant, but ultimately trusted the travelers on TripAdvisor and booked a stay. WOW! Now we hope it stays out of the guidebooks so that it remains a hidden find.... Fern Paradise is a 9-villa sanctuary run by Aum and his family. They treat you like family and... more

My friend and I stayed here one night in early May 2008, and wish we could have stayed longer. The rooms are beautiful, and the people who own the place are super sweet and helpful. Will definitely look at staying here again the future! more
