We thought it would be nice to have the hotel away from the crowd, and more if our 2 night stay in Chiang Mai was during the Thai New Year celebration (they throw water to everyone and everywhere, no merci). Krisdadoi Chiang Mai was ok. The rooms were nice and rather new although there wasn't much to do at the hotel. It has some half-constructed rooms behind the stream.
