The hotel is really close to the night Bazar but not in the middle of it, so it's quite and ok. Room and bathroom were spacious and confortable, clean and with good aircon. The SPA is a bit expensive but exceptional. The breakfast is also very good but sometimes there are too many people and you have to wait for... more

I visited Chaing Mai for work and was booked into this hotel. There is little to say to be honest, it was clean, in a good location and everything worked. However it had little or no charm. It was fine for a business trip, I am not sure I would want to spend a lot of time there if I... more

Stayed in this hotel many years ago and was not too impressed as the hotel was so old and the service was not up to standard. I have not been back here for many years and this trip all friends are staying in this hotel so I had no choice. However, I must admit that it has totally changed for... more

This hotel was part of a tour package booked through an agent in Singapore. The hotel was very nice--room very clean, beds comfortable, and nice bathroom. Beautiful outdoor pool. Within a 5 minute walk of the night market, but at the same time, a bit off the beaten track from the usual city noise. more

Booked a junior suite and stayed on the 15th floor (not sure if i ended up being upgraded) but the room was excellent. Very spacious, the bed was soft, unlike most other beds in asia! We were met both in the morning and evening by super frendily staff on the 15th floor. For the money we paid i thought it... more

This is my second stay here in 2 years - this time with my family, last time with a school group of 16 year olds. Both times found the staff very helpful and had no negatives. Yes, it is a little older than some but has a wonderful outdoor area and rooms are comfortable. We paid a little extra for... more

I booked a Deluxe room for 3700,- Baht, To name this room 'Deluxe' is nothing else than a joke. I really don't want to see a standard room. The rooms are very very old and the bathrooms are just horrible. So old and dirty. I don't know how other people could rate this hotel as a good one. They have... more

It's the 5th time i come back at this hotel, but maybe the last one. I have mixed feeling towards a very nice property, a perfect location downtown Chiang Mai very close to night market yet not too much in the middle of its chaos: the pool is wide and nice, common spaces are very large and elegantly decorated/furnished but...... more

We stayed at the Imperial Mai Ping from 28th Dec to 4th Jan 2008. Obviously location was a major factor in choosing this Hotel and we did check out the rooms on our last vacation to Chiang Mai in 2007 and found them to be a good standard. We attended the Gala Dinner on New Years eve also which was... more
