Stayed for 3 nights at Park Plaza betwee 6-9 June 2008. Booked through a travel agent and paid approximately US$113 per night inclusive of breakfast. This hotel is near the Sheraton and the Westin in Sukhumvit Bangkok (useful for taxi drivers who may not know the property as it just opened November 2007). The rooms are very clean, they have a modern decor, and there is a 24 hour cafe on site. This is a Carlson property, and they seem quite used to English speakers.... more

I stayed at Park Plaza only 1 night and my friends who have good corporate rate recommned this place. Very reasonable. Hotel location is closed to both skytrain and subway, like 3 minutes walk. This is a good hotel, but nothing extraordinary. As other reviewers have noted, it is new and the staff is very pleasant. The rooms are very stylish as well, but not very functional. Brand new boutique hotel – only 7 rooms per floor, two being corners. Get corner room for more space - - corner rooms ending in 01 are better than those ending in 07 IMHO (slightly more room area, better layout, etc).
