The Park Plaza Sukhumvit Bangkok is a gidden gem. Very close to where 'the' things are hapening, and still away from the big noise of Sukhumvit. The hotel is situated around 3 minutes walk from the metro and the Skytrain, from where you can get to all parts of Bangkok. The lobby is very modern, with helpfull staff. At the... more

This was a very pleasant surprise. I was expecting the usual, in terms of a 4 star property, and was shocked (in a good way) to find that this is one of the best rooms I have stayed in. At any star rating! I have stayed at most major 5 stars, and they have a "consistency" about them that tends... more

Stayed for 3 nights at Park Plaza betwee 6-9 June 2008. Booked through a travel agent and paid approximately US$113 per night inclusive of breakfast. As this hotel is quite new (I believe it was opened sometime in February 2008), taxi drivers don't really know the hotel, so it will be a good idea to print out a map beforehand.... more

We spent the first night of our recent holiday here. It was a bit of a gamble but the price was too good to turn down. The taxi driver had a bit of difficulty finding the place - as it is so new. The location is good, but you'll need to get a taxi to get around (which is actually... more

This hotel is near the Sheraton and the Westin in Sukhumvit Bangkok (useful for taxi drivers who may not know the property as it just opened November 2007). The rooms are very clean, they have a modern decor, and there is a 24 hour cafe on site. This is a Carlson property, and they seem quite used to English speakers.... more

I stayed at Park Plaza only 1 night and my friends who have good corporate rate recommned this place. Very reasonable. Hotel location is closed to both skytrain and subway, like 3 minutes walk. They provide free Wifi internet for 24 hours and on 2nd floor, there is small cafe that you can ask for drink (non alcoholic) for free... more

This is a good hotel, but nothing extraordinary. As other reviewers have noted, it is new and the staff is very pleasant. The rooms are very stylish as well, but not very functional. The bathroom is a 1.5 inch stepdown from the bedroom, ensuring that I have stubbed my toe (badly) twice (first time shame on them, second time, shame... more

Brand new boutique hotel – only 7 rooms per floor, two being corners. Get corner room for more space - - corner rooms ending in 01 are better than those ending in 07 IMHO (slightly more room area, better layout, etc). Great natural light – in corner rooms, you get windows on two sides and a window in the bathroom... more

Stayed for 5days 4nights, the front desk staff were very friendly & so helpful in solving all my enquires & problems. They make me feel myself at home, the staff really made my day, greeting you with smile everytime in... more

This is my second staying week with Park Plaza. The first one was a few months ago. I happended to catch this hotel from agent advise. It was among several other recommendations. I looked at their web site and had a sense that this is a modern and new hotel, with kinds of the feelings that I am looking for,... more
