Stayed in this hotel between 11-13 June. It was indeed a great place to stay in. Rooms were neat, clean and tidy rooms and the staff at front desk were friendly and helpful with few exception in coffee bar who seemed to often turned their back whenever something was requested during breakfast. Overall we had comfortable stay. more

This is a very good hotel. My executive room was HUGE, and kept spotlessly clean. Food was very good and staff excellent. Great pool area and health club. Location is fine, as long as you use the underground (which is a must these days with Bangkok traffic). My only complaint was internet useage at $30 per hour. Would definitely stay... more

I booked this hotel online and it was fantastic. We were a bit worried that it would be out of the way of Bangkoks main attractions, but it has a metro stop practically on its doorstep! I have never had such a choice of food for breakfast, and the rooms were a good size as well. If you stay at... more

Had been unsure about this hotel due to the location but this was not a problem at all. From the moment we arrived at the Emerald Hotel we had a great time. The reception staff were very helpful - and continued to be with the concierge and doormen also extremely courteous and helpful. The rooms were quite big with a... more

Booked through Wotif and got a good price of around 1800 baht, which is cheap for a hotel of this quality. On that basis, we booked it for three occasions of a couple of nights each, in between trips to Chiang Mai and Sukothai and would have booked again when returning from Krabbi, but for some reason, the rate had... more

I didn't like the place. It was somehow cold. Staff also seemed quite detached. Too cold, too big, don't think I'll be back! more

Ask a Thai about a good hotel and Emerald surely is one of them. Huge rooms and bathrooms, wide aisles, good food, nice and fully equiped health club and spa and less than 3 minutes walk to the nearest subway. Its also near three huge supermarkets,Robinson, Carrefour and Jusco. It is the training hotel for JAL stewardesses(including a group of Pinay... more

Good looking hotel , however the staff on front desk look and act very shifty seem dishonest. Gave me the complete run around , very very very rude to my girlfriend. Never again , price too high for bad location hotel , all you have near is Robinsons Mall. You will lose time here. more

I was in Bangkok/Pattaya tour with family, where on the first and the last of 5D/4N tour I stayed in Emerald, everything was fine but had little difficulty to communicate as most of the staff esp housekeeping do not speak Eng. One thing I do not understand was both days after my checking the reception said that they will send... more

This time I was housed in the main block rather than the tower block. The room in my opinion has a little more character than the tower block. Asked for a king size bed, you get 2 single bed put side by side with bedsheets camouflaging it. Can't really sleep in the middle of the bed :-) The only thing... more
