I have stayed at the wonderful Majestic for over 12 years and have come to regard it as a home from home. Sadly, last September it closed for major renovations which will take 2 years. Personally, I will miss its faded charm as it really was a one-off more

Our initial impression of Tunis was marred by an unscrupulous, piratical taxi driver who basically held us hostage on the trip from the Tunis Airport to the Hotel Majestic.
