My husband and I and two travel companions have just returned from Morroco and we were fortunate enough to stay in the beautiful Riad Tizwa in Fes. You go down a maze of small alley ways and wonder what you are going to and then the door of the Riad opens and it is just a wonderful sight mosiac tiles... more

Four friends and I stayed at Riad Tizwa for five nights in March and had a wonderful time, both in Fes, and at the Riad. The proprietor, Richard Bee was on hand nearly all the time, and seemed to us like the perfect hotelier if you are looking for an interesting conversationalist and someone who can point you in the... more

Must admit we preferred FES in terms of the lack of tourism etc....Marrakesh was great though, both locations very different from each other. We stayed at both Tizwa's and I will copy this to the other one The stay in FES was made for us for the following reasons; The Owner Richard was there at the time that we stayed.... more

On a tour of Morocco recently 5 friends and I stayed 4 days at Riad Tizwa in Fez. It is a very pleasantly set up and charming riad, well located (we could always find our way back through the maze that is Fez, and there were great restaurants nearby) and comfortable. The friendly attitude of the four young Moroccans running... more

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Riad Tizwa ifor three nights in April. Reserving the room was simple enough thorugh the Riad's webiste and prompt responses via e-mail were received. We made arrangements for a transfer from the Fes airport to the Riad which was handled perfectly. The Riad location is very good - just a quick 5 minute... more

I visited Riad Tizwa in marrakech last year and loved it and so i thought i would try Fez. I wasn't disappointed!! The city is wonderful and the Riad was fabulous... The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful and the food was divine. The place is tranquil, a home from home and exceeded my expectations especially the huge roof terrace.... more

We have just done a 3 week tour of Morocco and took in the 2 riad Tizwas. They are the best of the best. We were on a 4 location holiday (Marrakech, Fes, Agadir and Essaouira) and we really found that their 2 riads had the nicest staff, the best food (great breakfasts and dinners). We felt that agadir was... more

The reviews of this riad were amazing. But my husband and I just did not experience anything amazing during our stay there. This was our fourth stop on a trip around Morocco and definitely our least favorite riad. Fes is a city with soul and energy and this riad lacked both for us. The owner told us he was not... more

Recently renovated, this was great value for our family. Also a fantastic location, just near one of the main gates to the Medina. Parking for our rental car nearby. Staff at the Riad accomodated our every request, down to accompanying us to the local hammam and waiting until we were done. Highly recommended! more
