A very good value although a little high. Good hot breakfast bar, but show up before 8 am or the place gets crowded with kids. Closer to the Six Flags than some of the parks own parking lot. Chill out because the park sometimes opens up at 10 am. MY 2 negative comments. 1.Kind of high for a motel but... more

We chose Wingate due to its proximity to Six Flags and after checking the ratings and reviews on tripadvisor.com. We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the hotel and how well it looked. The rooms were clean and the beds even had pillow-top matresses. They serve a complimentary breakfast each morning that includes such staples as cereal, muffins, bagels,... more

Stayed at this hotel July 5th for 2 nights with the primary purpose of going to Six Flags. The hotel room was very pretty and decorated great. Had a view of the park. Parking is free and you get a tag to put on the dash board. The park is within walking distance from the hotel down a sidewalk. The... more

We spent five nights here in June 2008, and this hotel could not have been better. The room had plenty of space for us and our two children, the halls were quiet, and the breakfast choices were varied and plentiful. A big bonus was that housekeeping was early and fast. One morning we were only at Six Flags for an... more

We always stay at Wingate @ Six Flags during our annual trip to Six Flags over Georgia, and I was impressed as usuall! 1st and foremost, this is a business hotel, so don't go expecting a lavish pool or recreational facilities. What they do have is a well appointed room at a fair price, and the service has always been... more

My family stayed here for one night. It was very clean. It has a new appearance and appeared to be in a safe area. It has a small pool and an indoor hot tub. The free continental breakfast included homemade waffles. The complex was within a short walk to the Six Flags park, which saved on parking fees. The staff... more

Our trip included a great-grandmother (78) , grandmother (47) and (great) grandson (5), traveling to Six Flags. We stopped at the motel around 11:00 am (check in is around 3:00 pm) before going to the park, just to fill out paperwork, etc. We were greeted by a very nice desk clerk and motel manager. Much to my surprise, they had... more

Stopped in for a quick overnight stay while traveling. We found it to be clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy, but it definitely did not feel dumpy. All rooms were inside corridors so it felt safer that your average motor inn. Breakfast was simply, but tasty. more

My friend and I (30 somethings from NYC) stayed at the Wingate Inn for a visit to Six Flags and are happy to report that our experience was very consistent with the positive reviews posted here about this hotel. The hotel could not be closer to the park; the walk from the hotel entrance to one of the Six Flags... more
