This motel is directly across from Disneyland - a 5 minute walk to the park's entrance. The price is good for the area. The rooms are adequate but tired. The chemical fumes from the indoor pool waft into the parking lot. The pool is sad. There are only two elevators in this complex so be prepared to walk or wait.... more

We selected this hotel based on our review on Tripadvisor and other feedback media. The rooms were ok but a little tight. The staff wasn't that friendly. While checking in, my wife tried to make "small talk" with the clerk who appeared extremely bored. I don't know, maybe it's me; but if you are going to offer hotel services near... more

Stayed there for one night before going to disneyland the following day. Breakfast was mediocre, nothing bad, but nothing good. The rooms were standard, beds had typical paper thin comforter although housekeeping was very prompt when we asked for extra blankets and towels. The a/c was very loud and when we first arrived the room was HOT and we had... more

Pros: We booked a kids suite which was a nice set up for 2 adults and 3 kids. The adjoining kids room had a bunk bed and pull out sofa, a good size closet, and it's own TV. The room was very clean and the location of the hotel, at corner of Katella and Harbor , is about two long... more

We stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights in early March. There was 8 of us so we stayed in the Kalahari suite - it was amazing. Its a long suite with 4 queen beds and two bathrooms, plus the rooms both close up for privacy. The hotel restaurants were convenient, staff was friendly and the hotel is... more

My 2 year old daughter and I went up to Disneyland for 2 days and I have to say, the hotel was PERFECT! All the staff I came across were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They were gracious and absolutely FABULOUS! We felt very comfortable. In fact, even the housekeeoing boiys on our floor were pleasant, even though they could speak... more

We selected this hotel simply because of its convenient location--right across the street from the Anaheim Convention Center where we would be attending a 3-day conference. Our group booked a group of 14 rooms and were very pleasantly suprized by the service we received. Roshni Patel, the Sales and Meeting Events manager, was so helpful, always going out of her... more

We have traveled to Disneyland 4 times and have stayed at different places each time (Paradise Pier, Crown Plaza, Carousel Inn and the Desert Palm). The way I see it, you have 3 options when traveling to Disneyland: 1) Stay at a DL resort hotel 2) Stay way off site at and shuttle in 3) Stay at a hotel within... more

Booked a Disney trip for our family of five during Valentine's day and the Desert Palms was a decent value for what we needed. We booked a mini-suite so our daughters could stay in the separate room with a pull out sofa while our son stayed in the second queen. The room was a bit small, but comfortable. It was... more
