We booked because of the kitchen, but it had no microwave or dish soap and the stove didn't work, so making meals was not an option. Bed sheets were soft and it is in a close location to the mall, but a 6 block walk to the Metro. Would not recommend. more

We stayed at the State Plaza for 5 nights. The property is located on a small street where construction was going on. The lobby was only an entrance with some chairs. We just returned from our second stay at the State Plaza and I find it to be a great value. The rooms are huge with two queen-size beds, a full kitchen equipped with dishes, pots & pans, toaster, etc., a dressing room, and a closet with iron, ironing board, room safe. The hotel has a great location. It's only 3-4 short blocks from the national mall, toward the Lincoln Memorial.
