Just spent 5 days at this hotel - it was incredibly convenient - right near the White House - the staff was incredible - especially the consierge - he went out of his way to help us. 1/2 price on week-ends so it was a real deal for the price. more

I stayed at the Sofitel Lafayette for one night in May while in DC on business. I usually stay in Kimpton hotels while on business but, for some reason, I was booked at a Sofitel this time around. I'm thrilled that it worked out that way. My experience at Kimpton hotels have been a lot of attitude with little service.... more
