I stayed at the Ritz Carlton for a business trip and found the accomodations very comfortable. The room was very well appointed, but the style is "old school": dark wood, wallpaper, ornate marble bathroom fixtures. Housekeeping was top notch, of course, as was the front desk. But the hotel has no pulse: I wouldn't have chosen this for my own... more

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. We were on the 11th floor facing the courtyard and the room was very quiet. It met the standards I expect from a Ritz. In particular, the staff is incredibly attentive and polite without being to obtrusive. The rooms are a bit on the small side but still very large. In general,... more

Pricey and comfortable hotel 3 blocks from GWU and Foggy Bottom Metro. Staff at this hotel are extremely pleasant and accomodating. The rooms are large and well appointed, although a bit dated given the price they are charging. Hold on to your wallet if you plan to eat in the hotel. Don't valet park, you can save quite a bit... more

Our stay at this Ritz is always superb. From the moment we step out of our airport taxi, we feel pampered. We are frequent visitors and all of the staff remembers us and treats us as if a famous person has stepped through the door. The club floor is particularly special. The food presentations are amazing and the staff is... more

We stayed at this hotel for a night out, basically for an extended date night with my fiancee. The style of the interior is traditional Ritz Carlton. Very lavishly decorated, everything spotless. The thing I love about Ritz Carlton is that the people who work there cant say "no" to you. That word is not in their vocabulary. Upon arrival,... more

Stayed at the Ritz for New Year's Eve and wedding anniversary. Though it was pricey, we got more than we paid for. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We booked through American Express and when we arrived, we were given a room upgrade to the Presidential Suite. The staff was fantastic and called us by name. The suite... more

This is the Ritz on 22nd. Husband on business and I was on pleasure. Asked for a quiet inside courtyard room away from traffic and got it on 6th floor. Room about the size of remodeled Hampton Inns and have the new bedding which was very comfortable. Free water, 3 papers if you request, coffee and hot tea in lobby... more

Stayed at the Ritz Carlton DC over Thanksgiving for 3 nights and from start to finish it was a wonderful experience. My fiance and I have stayed at many Ritz Carltons, Four Seasons and Mandarin Orientals and the Ritz Carlton DC is at the very top. We stayed in a Club Suite and Rolando was amazing. He is extremely welcoming... more

Of the 5 or so Ritz Carltons Ive stayed at, the is by far the most disapointing. Here for a couple days for business and pleasure, and very disapointed. We were on the club floor and payed $700 on the weeknights and $400 on the weekends. It was worth the weekends, but NOT the weekdays. The staterooms were great amenities,... more

My husband and I went to Washington DC for part pleasure and part business trip. Our stay at the Ritz was okay but not what I expected. I really thought that the rooms were going to be much bigger. After one night sleep in the bed I had a cramp in my back and I'm not that old. We ordered... more
