We stayed at the Westin DC City Center overnight. Our experience was flawless, we booked two rooms and we were given two adjoining rooms, the beds were everything we dreamed about - truly heavenly bed, lcd tv, ambiance, excellent restaurant, overnight valet parking while $35,, but speedy and friendly service. We ordered a rollaway bed for our son, and it... more
We stayed a couple of nights with our kids and got a room from which we could hear the air conditionning system from another building. If you have to sleep well, you should avoid the rooms whose number is ending by 19 (e.g. 619 ) . Large rooms, and not sure how calm your night will be. In other words,... more
I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights back in July with my wife. Pretty good location to get around the city and I was told that it was also recently refurbished. The room was very clean and modern. The staff were very attentive. Special praise goes to the manager Felix who helped us a great deal when we are... more
I was tempted to give this only 2 stars but since I got a good rate ($149) and I haven't slept in my Heavenly Bed yet, I am going to give it the benefit of the doubt. I got here at a little after 1pm today and they let me check in early. I ate a mediocre $13 hamburger here... more
My family and I (of 4) stayed at the Westin in early August and booked a double room. Once we arrived we were greeted by the valet parking staff (could have been a little bit more lively but ohhh well) once we entered the lobby I was in awww. It was great. The Atrium made the air flow nicely through... more
The staff was nice. The rooms were excellent I loved my blanket, so much that I went out to macys and bought one just like it. more
Full disclosure: I won SPG points from a contest on Trip Advisor and used them to stay here. Check-in was a bit more interesting than anticipated. We arrived shortly after 3pm. Upon entering our room, we noticed a bottle of champagne and a birthday cake with someone else's name on it! The staff quickly remedied the error and gave us... more
On my express checkout I noticed they charged my credit card for 2 additional nights. I telephoned the front desk immediately and was assured it would be corrected. When I checked out in person the next morning I inquired, it had not been taken care of and again was assured it would be corrected immediately. The day after I checked... more
We recently spent 4 days in Washington and thought the hotel offered few surprises. It caters principally for the US business traveler so its bar and restaurant prices and menu reflect as do the amenities offerred. Like several US hotels there is free wi-fi available in the lobby. That being said it is only half a mile or so from... more
