Star city was fine. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. I stayed in a Pyrmont room that looks over the Pyrmont Bridge (opposite to Darling Harbour side) View was not spectacular. Stayed seven nights from New years day, we picked Star City as it was close to Darling Harbour. The downside first, they had no apartments available and we were placed in a Deluxe Room, very Nice but the Sheraton in Noosa was better. we stopped at this hotel for four nights on our way to New Zealand. Our 2 bed apt far exceeded our expectations for size ,cleanliness and comfort. I would highly recommend it and would definitely choose Star City as first choice if I return to Sydney. more

We stayed in this hotel at the beginning of October, 2007 and it was fabulous. The hotel was like a mini city, the rooms were lovely and the whole experience is one i would advise anyone to try. I would definately return to stay here should I be lucky enough to go back to Oz. more

If you are looking for a good quality,clean and modern apartment stay here.Close walk to Darling Harbour for good restaurants and Aquarium. Also ferry stop here gives easy and cheap access to Circular Harbour. The city centre is an enjoyable and short walk from Star City. more

That said we stayed in a three bedroom apartment on the ninth floor (952) that had fantastic views of Darling Harbour and the Sydney Harbour Bridge - all which looked spectular - especially at night.
