I had the misfortune to spend a night in this accommodation last week. The rooms was very tired, looked like it was from the 70's. We stayed here for one night and couldn't wait to leave. The room is very outdated and the windows were really dirty! Loved this apartment. Simple but spacious with great views of Darling Harbour with ferries 2 minutes walk away. The large washing maching and tumble dryer was a real boon. The Metro Apartments are centrally located, close to Darling Harbour if you are on holiday. The apartments are in need of refurbishment, stained carpets and tired furniture. Very basic but cheap. I would agree with most of the other reviews. The location is both excellent and terrible. It's located at the offramp of a freeway, so it is rather noisy. The hotel is in a great location, a two minute walk from Darling Harbor, and 15-20 minutes to Circular Quay. The room was spacious, with a kitchen and upstairs loft with the bed. It's not a fancy hotel, but it did the trick for us and my wife and I were both very satisfied. more
