We found it extremely well located just opposite the railway station where you could hop on a train to Venice for €1 single journey or take a bus, but train is best only 8 mins into Venice. The agent hit it right on. Low rates, a few minutes to Venice and big clean rooms. Located across from the train station it could not have been more convenient. However, Mestre does not have much going on after dark. Be forewarned. more
