We stayed at the Novotel for 4 nights. While the property is not in the middle of Lisbon, it is very close to the Metro and the Metro is very cheap and efficient. The area around the Novotel is surrounded by office buildings, but there is a nearby market. There is also a Post Office across the road from the... more

Stayed at Novotel Lisboa with a group of girls in April. For 3 nights we paid approximately £100 each including breakfast. The rooms were clean and spacious and the included breakfast was more than adequate (could have done with it being on a bit later though, but we were late risers). The pool area was a god send. We had... more

Stayed at the Novotel for 3 days as we fancied a break from the Algarve. We had two children with us (aged 12 and 1yr). The hotel was easy to find, being slightly on the outskirts of the centre meant we didn't get stuck in all the traffic. We parked in the hotels underground carpark which was reasonable in price... more

I stayed here during my spring holiday this year. As we were going to spend an entire week in Lisbon, we wanted to be on the safe side and avoid any possible disappointments, so we decided for a chain hotel, not a local one. The hotel was exactly what we wanted: very clean, big rooms. Nice and friendly staff, helped... more

Bedrooms are nice, clean and spacious - only niggles are polysterene cups rather than proper ones and the mini window. Hotel itself is very nice with a nice pool area. Breakfast isn't fantastic but there is a wide selection. Would recommend and would stay here again. more

A group of friends and I stayed at the Novotel Lisboa for a girly weekend a few weeks ago. Overall I was very happy with my stay. The hotel itself is slightly out of the main "throng" of Lisbon, it is located in the financial district but still only cost us around 6 Euros to get to the city centre... more

We took the AeroShuttle from the airport which drops you in front of the hotel and costs 3euro one way. It allows you to use all busses for 24h. The hotel looks clean and the design is contemporary. The swimming pool is small and needs some refurbishment and additional loungers. The rooms are big and nice and have a minibar,... more

Although the location was out of town, the hotel was near the tube and quiet. The rooms seemed to be recently refurbished and of a good size. Window was broken but didn't significantly detract from the experience. Being a novotel wasn't huge on character and location in business district was predictably soul-less but overall was a very reasonable experience and... more

Very good location if you don't insist that city centre needs to be within walking distance. From the centre it takes ca. 10 minutes with underground+another 5 mins. pleasant walk (from station Praca de Espanha). Good connection with airport (airport shuttle - cost EUR 3,-) just opposite to the hotel. Nicely designed/decorated (well, standard Novotel) large rooms, great bathrooms, breakfast... more

Large rooms, very contemporary. It is a 5-10 min walk to closest subway, but then very short distance via subway into heart of Lisbon. Great decor, good value, good pool area, too bad it was cold when I was there. The do struggle to pull off the breakfast in the morning, but overall not a bad deal. They could do... more
