It was a horrible hotel and a horrible stay. The hotel is totally old, the last renovation there was probably done in 80s. The rooms are ugly and there is even no shampoo provided, while the soup is of the lowest quality. The personal is also not the most professional or welcoming. It is really not recommended neither for business... more
Good news -- easy walking distance to Expo and subway. Also food in restaurant is surprisingly good at lunch and dinner. Although expensive, the lunch served to our group was really excellent. Dinner was satisfactory. Unfortunately the guest rooms are tiny, especially the doubles. Worst of all is that we had NO hot water most mornings. The demand clearly exceeds... more
located in heysel..northern part of the city.20-25 min to city centre by metro.the heysel metro station is literally across the road from the hotel.the are is a quite and suburban area.it seemed very safe.there is an bank and atm machine very close to the hotel.rooms are a decent size and pretty basic but very clean.sat tv in the room.bar is... more
This has to be the worst hotel I've stayed in. Where do I start... The hotel is located in the middle of nowhere, the only reason to stay here is for purposes of spiritual atonement, for work or as a tourist forget it. The decor is all faded, peeling here and there, tatty and everything has the impression that it... more
Every two years I have to go through the nightmare of staying in this hotel as an improtant trade exhibition happens to take place in this town. This hotel provides the shortest walk to the fairgrounds. And this finishes the plus-list. On the con side: - Absolutely overpriced - Dirt - Broken furniture - Ridiculous room size and so forth.... more
The hotel is out by the Expo and the Atomium and this is not an area with anything to do unless you're attending a convention. The rooms are tiny, but the windows open and the beds are comfortable. There is no aircon so I would not stay here in summer. The staff were friendly and the meeting rooms very good... more
I stayed here as part of a tour, so I can't comment on the price, but it was a decent hotel. It was reasonably clean, the beds were comfortable, the breakfast was very nice, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The train station was a five minute walk away, which would connect you with the Grand Place. You can... more
He stayed at the Garden Holiday Inn in December and would not stay there again. For a first time visitor it is WAY off the beaten path, and a LONG way from any shopping, restaurants or any nightlife in Brussels. It's adjacent to the Expo, and possibly a good stay if that's your ultimate destination. If you're a tourist looking... more
