The Kursaal is in a great location within walking distance of the Santa Maria Novella train station and sites like the Duomo. (But be prepared for a laborious walk if you are coming from the train station with a lot of heavy luggage because the sidewalks on Via Nazionale are crowded and narrow.) The rooms at Hotel Kursaal Ausonia were not quite what we expected, but they weren't horrible. The quad room is really one bedroom with a smaller separate sitting room.
