If you plan to stay at Ca del Brocchi do not take big bags of luggage! The hotel is also kind of off the beaten path, so be careful at night. I was staying here with my Mom and we were so nervous getting home at after dark that we held our keys in our hand to stab any attackers.... more

My sister and I spent four nights at this excellent small and perfectly formed establishment. Great location quiet but very accessible. Helpful and welcoming with an excellent twin room as requested and confirmed by friendly and reassuring email. Breakfast is very traditional Italian with fresh bread rolls but if this is what you are expecting it is good quality. Only... more

My wife and I stayed two nights in the hotel in late June 2008, at a rate of EUR152/night for a double. To date, this is our first and only Venice hotel experience, so I will try to be objective and/or compare it to my experience in other European hotels of a similar price/star range. PLUSES: 1. Room decor was... more

Overall, this was a wonderful hotel. With a good map, it is about a 10 minute walk from the Accadamia Vaporetto stop in a very quite neighborhood. Our room was quite small, but that seems to be very typical in Europe, so it wasn't really a big issue for us. Everything was clean and well maintained. The staff was very... more

Based on other reviews I didn't expect the staff to speak much English but it wasn't a problem at all. We stayed in the Gaudi suite and it has a gorgeous view of the neighbours gardens and was relatively spacious, however, the jacuzzi still doesn't work. The hotel was very quiet at night and set well away from the usual... more

We eventually found the hotel after a 20 minute hunt as it's not the easiest to find. Once found it’s easy to get to, and is in a nice location just out of the way of the main tourist routes. The hotel itself was lovely and the staff very helpful although English was not their speciality. I quite liked that.... more

We booked this small hotel over the internet with the hotel staff (Nicola) in March '07 for a two night stay in October '07. We did all the usual stuff...sending credit card info, receiving confirmation, re-confirming several weeks ahead with arrival time etc. But when we arrived our personal and credit card information was just lying around where anyone could... more

We stayed at this B&B for three nights as a part of our Italian honeymoon. We followed the map from the website and had no problem finding the place. When we arrived we were informed that our room was having some work done and we would be staying in a room in another hotel down the street. Because I spoke... more

My wife and I had a fantastic 3 night stay in this lovely hotel. Great location off the beaten path in the Dorsoduro just steps from the Peggy Guggenheim Museum. Very quiet place to sleep. Wonderful room and fairly large bathroom for Europe. The staff were very accommodating. We would definetly consider staying again. more

I just spent one night at Locanda Ca' del Brocchi in their new apt. a 10 minute walk from their main location. The owner Niccola and his brother were such wonderful hosts. Niccola went as far as to meet us at the Accademia Bridge and help my husband lug our luggage to his place. More impressive the next morning he... more
