My husband and I stayed at Ca' Zose for two nights the first weekend in June 2008. What a charming hotel. The location was absolutely wonderful in the quiet section of Dorsoduro. It was only a two minute walk to the Salute water taxi stop. The hotel was easy to find with a great map, which I highly recommend, its... more
We were very happy with the accomodations but what really made the difference were Valentina, Graziella & the other staff: all were extremely friendly and helfpful. We'd go back in a minute! more
Super location in the back streets just across the grand canal from Piazza San Marco and about 2 minutes walk from the Salute Vaporetto stop and you can walk pretty much anywhere in 25 minutes. We were a bit worried about finding the place from other reports but it was dead easy. The rooms are clean and tidy and in... more
Great place. Thanks to AnmChicago who put us on to this charming hotel. This hotel is owned by two sisters, Graziella and Valentina, who were a great help and full of information. This hotel was renovated 2 or 3 years ago. It's located in the Dorsoduro area, halfway between Peggy Guggenhiem Museum and La Salut Church. It's located on one... more
This is a very good place for a base in this bewildering city, particularily for new visitors. The certainty of easy return gives a great sense of ease and allows fearless exploration. The rooms are reasonably sized (particularily for Venice ! ) and the hotel is extremely well managed.Get off at Salute on the no. 1 route, cross first little wooden bridge on right... more

Other reviewers have mentioned small showers - well I'm hardly tiny and I didn't find it a problem. I actually found the shower really good. Yes,... more
Stayed at the Ca Zose for 2 nights. Nice location, not on the busy tourist route which I think would be noisy. Nice staff. Breakfast was adequate with cereal, pastries, coffee, yogurt, etc. Internet access was challenging -- had to pay for it in 15 minute increments and it's monitored by the government apparently due to terrorism and pedofile issues... more
This hotel is everything we expected based on the price relative to everything else in Venice. The location is convenient with a 10 min. walk to Rialto and St. Marks. Rooms are decently furnished, but much less luxiurous than their website makes them look. Service was good, but nothing special. The only negatives are - extremely small shower and the... more
Dear Guests many thanks for your review I just want to clarify a couple of points: for “decently furnished “ and “ much less luxiurous than their website “ the furnished for all the rooms are the same like on the pictures on the web site ...... and made by hand from venetian craftmen! “ Service was good, but nothing...
