Our family of four stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and found it to be exactly as we expected from what was written on tripadvisor's site. It was our first hotel on our first trip to Italy and it made for a perfect start to a dream vacation. Directly across from the Vatican in a lovely part of town.... more

We stayed at the hotel Alimandi Vaticano for 1 night precruise and wish we could have stayed longer. I found the staff to be very helpful and freindly, from answering all my emails, to the free shuttle from the airport to the hotel, to storing our luggage while we were taking a tours. The rooms were clean and quiet. The... more

A brief review. The hotel was amazing. We booked another hotel and after one night left. My wife heard about this hotel in a travel book and we walked over. It was 100 times nicer and 10 euro cheaper. They had wireless internet for very reasonable prices and the breakfast that was included was very nice! I highly recommend this... more

We stayed at the Hotel Alimandi Vaticano for five nights in July 2008. The hotel faces the main gates of the Vatican, and you can see the queues for the Vatican wind into the distance. The reasons we loved this hotel were: Location - 5 to 15 minute walk to the main tourist sites this side and over the other... more

After lots of reading on this site we choose Hotel Alimandi Vaticano. The location was directly across the street from the Vatican. We enjoyed a delightful breakfast each morning. Our room was very clean with a large bathroom. We had an issue with the air conditioning and contacted the front desk. They quickly adjusted the temp. from the front desk... more

As a family of four, we found the quad room we had to be large and comfortable. Even though located on a busy street, the hotel has sound-proofed windows. We found the accomodations to be up to the 4-star rating--beautiful bathrooms, comfortable beds, good air conditioning. The breakfast was delicious and ample, as other reviewers have commented. The staff was... more

My wife and I stayed here for three nights for our Italian Honeymoon. It was a nice little resonably priced hotel if you are looking to stay somewhere near the Vatican. However, it is not really conveniently located near the Metro, which will take you into ancient Rome. The rooms were pretty small (average size of rooms in Italy) however... more

This is definitely the place to stay while in Rome. Clean and modern with spacious rooms and a varied and tasty breakfast buffet, but its best asset is its staff. The staff is cheerful, helpful and does everything necessary to make your stay comfortable. This hotel is located across from the entrance to the Vatican Musuem. There is easy access... more

We booked this hotel after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor. I arrived one day ahead of my wife & the owner & his staff could not have been more helpful - with parking, my luggage, directions to the airport etc. The room itself was a little small (normal for Italy) but clean, well appointed, with everything we needed. Satellite TV... more

After much research (especially on Trip Advisor), we decided that Hotel Alimandi in Vaticano would be a fabulous choice. I had read that booking this hotel through Rooms Accommodation was very advisable. So...about a year ago, we booked two rooms with balconies for 180 euros a night for two nights for June of 2008. Several months later, we were forced... more
