The Hosianum Palace is a little gem. The desk clerks were all friendly and helpful and spoke English. The patio breakfast area is lovely and has a nice selection of pastries, cereals, yogurt, fruit and some hot dishes, as well as fruit juices and coffee. Gets a bit crowded at times, though, and a couple of little birds are quick... more

Booked via Opodo.com at reasonably short notice, stated as 4 star, was therfore expecting UK 3 star but could easily be UK 4 star. Welcome very good, reception staff friendly and helpful, gave good advice; room, bed and bathroom spotless (small but perfectly adequate for us), excellent daily service. Hard bed but not a problem. Air-con rooms, no real view... more

I stayed at the Hosianum Palace for three days during August 2008. The hotel is in a great location. All of Rome's major tourist spots (Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, etc.) are within easy walking distance (15 to 20 minutes). If you don't mind walking then the Vatican and the Piazza del Popolo are also easily reached by... more

Four of us went for a girls get-away - our first time in Rome - what luck to find this place! The hotel is in a great position for getting aout the city, the staff are helpful and the breakfast is a good mix of food - something for everyone. The little bar was comfortable and friendly and the roof... more

I am glad I put so much effort into finding a good affordable 4* hotel as this hotel definitely made our 4day stay in Rome like a dream come true: the rooms were clean though small esp. bathrooms, everything was in working order (A/C, TV, minibar, safe, always hot water ...), the staff was extremely helpful and friendly, having a... more

I stayed as a solo traveler at the Hotel Hosianum Palace for four nights, spanning late May into early June 2008. The single room I booked was small but cozy, classically furnished, impeccably clean, and surprisingly quiet with a tall double glazed window. A full, hot breakfast (including eggs, meat, fruit, cereal, pastries, cappuccino, etc.) is served, weather permitting, on... more

The Hotel Hosanium really helped make our honeymoon special. The hotel is in the perfect location, within easy walking distance of museums, the Colosseum, and busses. It rained everyday we were in Rome but because the hotel was so close we were able to come back when the weather got too bad and go back out without wasting too much... more

This was a wonderfully clean and modern hotel in the heart of Rome. My husband and I walked everywhere including the Vatican. We stayed in room 301 and had a very clean bathroom and very spacious room. It was exceptionally clean and the wonderful front desk staff helped us find fantastic restaurants every night we were there. The complimentary breakfast... more

Located on a small quiet street in a great, artsy neighborhood that feels more like Florence than Rome, yet within walking distance to most Rome attractions. You won't have to travel far to find great food ... this is the neighborhood to eat in! The hotel is comfortable, renovated and very well attended, but if you're looking for a high-end,... more
