Stayed at the Capo for two nights from 6-19 through 6-21. We had four rooms and all were very nice. The location makes all the difference. My last time in Rome I stayed only a few blocks away but those few blocks make all the difference. The view from the roof top are spectacular. The staff was very friendly. And... more

The hotel's location was one of the highlights. unfortunately we had bad luck with everything else. We had a tiny room even though I had booked a superior. But the biggest problem was the front desk. They were so continuously rude and unhelpful during our stay that we left after just two nights. This was my first encounter ever of... more

Stayed here for 6 nights at the end of March 2008 from Easter Monday onwards. Hotel was well located, only a few minutes walk from the Colosseum. Very clean, and well maintained. Room was fine, but a typical city centre hotel - so rather cramped. Breakfast was included in the room rate and well worth taking, either in the breakfast... more

What a nice hotel. I spent two nites at this hotel. Very quiet street and comfortable. I could sleep with the window open and not be disturbed by buses and traffic. The neighborhood is wonderful with great local restaurants, bars, grocery store and gelato! more

We've just returned from a 4 night stay at this excellent hotel. We arrived at Termini station and walked the 20 minute route to the hotel. Although apparently not in a traditional place to stay whlst in Rome we found the location to be one of the hotels greatest assets. Although within 5 minutes easy walk of The Colloseum it's... more

Wow. What a charming and stylish gem of a hotel in a spectacular location on a quiet little street right near the coliseum. Very stylish and Italian ...although there were some inscrutable buttons in the room that we never figured out what their purpose was. more

We stayed at Capo d'Africa on April 13 and 14, 2008 after disembarking from a 10 day cruise on the Med. The hotel was in a great location, only about 4 blocks from the Colloseum, and within walking distance to public transportation. The hotel staff was very accomodating and helpful, and the facilities were very ccomfortable. One of the true... more

Spent two nights in this lovely Hotel and would highly recommend a stay here. It's in a great position, in a quiet residential street near the Colosseum. Hotel is spotlessly clean everywhere. Rooms are modern and a good size, beautifully furnished with lots wardrobe space. The bathrooms are also a good size, again lovely and clean. Had a nice view... more

My husband and I just returned from a 2 week cruise in Italy. Before our cruise left port in Civitevecchia (ROME), we spent two nights at Capo d' Africa. Located near the Colloseum, it's a small hotel on a quiet street. You can walk to the Colloseum as well as lots of restaurants and outside cafes. The rooms are lovely... more

Loved everything about this hotel!!! The exterior look of the building, the rooms with high ceilings, the beautiful breakfast terrace and selection of foods, and the wonderful staff. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. The location of this hotel is perfecto - you can walk to most of the major Rome attractions. The hotel is also in a reasonably quiet... more
