An amazing honeymoonExcellent place, big room, just in the hottest place of Madrid: Puerta del Sol. A brand new notebook on your room with free wi-fi access. Perfect choice. more
When we arrived we were greeted with the builders doing major improvements within the hotel which we were not pre-warned about, we had numerous builders with a universal room key letting themselves into our room at all hours when they should have been going next door. We had to change rooms twice due to air-con not working properly, no hot... more
Stayed for 2 nights in Petit Londres Palace in May 2008. This hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Madrid. It is only a very short walk to both Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol Plaza. Very happy with our choice. more
madrid spain.petit palace londres.11th march 08. myself and 10 friends just arrived home from a wonderfull city break,we stayed at the petit palace londers,we had 3 rooms booked 3 in 2 rooms and 4 in 1 room.the only down fall was the room with 4 people was way to small,it says on the web site its a family room but... more
I onlys stayed in the hotel for 1 night with a couple of friends. 3 of us stayed in a room designed for 4 (2 x single beds, 1 x bunk bed) We were only there for one night to watch the football. The location was great, in the middle of city, with Plaza Mayor only a 5~10 minute walk... more
This is a good low cost (not cheap) hotel. We booked through bookings.com and requested a street facing room with balcony after reading reports on this site. The hotel is right in the centre of things but in a quieter side street just round the corner from the Sol metro and el corte ingles.( where there is a supermarket in... more
Please chose another hotel! Madrid deserves so much better that this place! It is located smack in the middle of Madrid, but not in the best location.. the red light district is just around the corner, so during the night time it's not the best place to walk. It says somewhere that the beds are "supercomfortable"..??! I belive that if... more
The hotel was hard to find as it was hidden within the shopping square, but it was pretty much a central location...to all of Madrid! Two train stations located within blocks of the hotel, great for sight-seeing on your own. The rooms were modern - the showers were a bit confusing, but had hot water and good pressure. Ask for... more
The only good thing to say about this hotel is the location. It was very central, however it is also in an incredibly busy location, which was slightly stressful when we first arrived. The girl at the front desk nearly strained a muscle trying to be friendly, and by my definition she didn't succeed. We had a lot of simple... more
Thanks to the folks at EnGrande who were wonderful and very helpful when making the right recommendation. The Hotel Petit Palace was exactly what we were looking for. The location was unbeatable. Walking distance to most attractions, nightlife and great restaurants. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. I strongly recommend the Hotel and EnGrande. more
