Returned late yesterday from a short weekend trip to Hamburg. I stayed with my son in the Clipper Elb-Lodge, not a standard hotel. The location is about 15 minutes to walk from the famous "Landungsbrücken", the ferry boat quay or five minutes from the local train station "Koenigstrasse". Built in a former industrial area called "Holzhafen" at the water front... more
