You can't ask for a better location. Easily accessible from the airport (a 5 minute walk from the S Bahn train stop) and close to numerous shops and restaurants. We were graciously received at the front desk and our rooms were clean and comfortable. I e-mailed several questions to the staff before our arrival and each e-mail was answered promptly... more

We stayed here for 4 nights on the 1st leg of our 25th anniv. trip. Outstanding location - all the downtown areas are right around the corner. Room a bit sterile, but new and modern - very comfortable. Breakfast very expensive here no thanks. It was very hot in Munich at this time, and we were most pleased that the... more

Reasonably-priced hotel very close to city centre attractions. In a fairly quiet side street, the hotel has a very low-key exterior, and modest reception area. The rooms are just big enough for a table and one armchair, as well as the usual desk etc.. The hotel fabric and fittings are mid-range but in very good condition. The staff are more... more

Great little hotel. It's in the middle of everything, near lots of shopping. Walking distance to everything. Very clean. The only negative is that the people there are very unfriendly. Not helpful at all. We went to ask them for a good place to eat and all they would say was that there were lots of restaurants down the street.... more

This hotel has a perfect location in the heart of Old Town Munich. It is central to everything. The rooms are very modern, well maintained, and clean. Rooms are small by American standards, but we found that throughout Europe. You get used to it. The breakfast was among the best we found in Europe. The fresh squeezed orange juice was... more

My partner and I stayed at this hotel in June 2007. This hotel is litterally one street away from the main plaza and is somewhat inexpensive. The hotel and room color choice is black and tan which makes for a neutral environment - so nothing special. The rooms have air conditioning which is a plus for Americans staying in European... more

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in mid-May. Hotel is very nicely located --right in the center of the tourist attractions in the Altstadt, on a side street that gets, however, a surprising amount of traffic. I slept very well, but if you are sensitive to noise as I am, you may want to bring a white noise... more

Cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in! We were put in quite a small room when we arrived with no bath but it was okay. However, the TV didn't work so my partner complained. Nothing happened until the 4th complaint when the receptionist said we could swap rooms. Luckily we were put in a nicer, larger room with a bath... more

Good location (2 min. from Marienplatz, Viktualianmarkt). Rooms fine but don't expect anymore ambiance than you would from any highway motel in the US. Rooms facing street can be noisy when window is open. Ask for a room ending in "17", they face the side and are larger than others. more
