Our family of 5 stayed here for the last 2 nights of our 22 day journey. We chose Hotel Uhland based on their extensive and friendly website and were not disappointed. The rooms were large, clean, and updated, the breakfast was AWESOME, there was a lounge with free internet and coffe/tea, there was free parking in the back yard, and... more
My family just got back to the states after staying at the Hotel Uhland. The staff was awesome while we were there. We came to the city via Train and the station was about a 15 min walk from the station. But when we arrived there we just took a taxi, because we did not have a good understanding of... more
My family and I stayed at the Hotel Uhland for one week. The Hotel is clean and in a nice area. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Baths were clean and a decent size. Walk to Marienplatz or train station in ten to fifteen minutes or take the close by public transportation.. The staff was very friendly and... more
We had a nice stay at the Hotel Uhland. Though the structure is quite old, our room was very new inside with lots of slick, stylish gadgets and accessories. We had a nice queen size bed plus a double bed folding down from the wall which comfortably accommodated our family of four. The bathroom was clean and very modern. Free... more
We stayed at the Uhland after a 2 week holiday spent in the country, we were ready for a little luxury and the Uhland delivered. Our 3 kids loved the coffee/tea on demand and our room was spacious and comfortable. Great breakfast, great front desk service, great location, we have our place to stay in Munich! more
Our family enjoyed this hotel very much. It is located directly across from the Octoberfest grounds in a safe neighborhood of former mansions now used as mixed residential and office buildings. You can walk to the city center, but it is a bit far. It took us about fifteen to twenty minutes. It is easier to use the U station... more
July, 6, 2008 We stayed at the Hotel Uhland for the final four nights of our 21 day European journey. I'm not one to write a review but I thought this hotel deserved the kudos. With a large family it can be treacherous to find accommodations anywhere in the world. But Brigette went above and beyond to help. She arranged... more
This hotel is a great value. It is located in a quiet residential area about a 10 minute walk to the Sendlinger Tor, 20 minutes to Marienplatz and only 400 steps from the Theresienwiese Subway which can take you direct to Odeonsplatz. Our room was plain and relatively small but very comfortable and clean. Parking was free right behind the... more
Hotel Uhland was a great boutique hotel, located in a fairly quiet residential neighborhood near the train station (it was only about a 15-minute walk from the station with luggage). The staff was welcoming and friendly at all times. The breakfast buffet is pretty extensive for a European hotel - granola, dried fruit, yogurt, assorted breads and jams, juices. The... more
