There was a notice in the room saying breakfast was over at 10am. We were never asked what time we would like breakfast and when we went down at 9:45 the woman refused us breakfast saying that it was nearly 10. We had already paid the night before, the showers were cold too so we couldn't shower, so we basically... more

First thing’s first. If at all possible do not stay in this bed and breakfast. I was booked into Ashe Townhouse with other friends whilst attending a wedding in Tralee whilst over in Ireland from England. Unfortunately, despite being a frequent traveller and virtually always using Trip Advisor to research hotels before I book them, I only opted to look... more

This guesthouse is terrible. On no account should anybody contemplate staying here. The water was cold so no showers could be had (other reviews here show that this is a common problem). When we compalined about this we were vaguely told it was going to be fixed. The room smelled of a combination of mould and bleach, so the lack... more

I stayed here with my work colleague this month and it was, without doubt, the worst "hotel" experience of my life. NOTE: This is not a hotel - it is a run down hovel and I am sure that there are hostels that would have better facilities. We only booked the night before as we were travelling on business. When... more

I stayed there about 2 weeks ago to attend a meeting in the Grand Hotel was impressed I was given a double room and paid the price of a single room ensuite. The location was ideal as it is in the Tralee city centre close to all Pubs and restaurants I would highly recommend the La Scala restaurant which was... more

I don't know if all of the other posters are extremely fussy or the Ashe townhouse has improved its service, but we found this hotel to be very pleasant for the price. Stayed 1 night, Feb 08. The hotel is in a brilliant location in the centre of town and we paid only €50 for the room for 2 people... more

Actually, I booked the room for four nights but decided to leave after one horrible night and a laughable breakfast. There was no hot water available (was just above body temperature) and the room was cold. After asking why it is so cold, I was told that the heating is turned on for one hour, then turned off for two... more
