The hotel location is fantastic for a Downtown Dublin trip. Easy to get to via the buses and the price is hard to beat for location. The rooms were nice and upscale and would definately satisfy an American's taste. Had to get used to how they do electricity in Ireland though and the figuring out of the baths were a... more

I spent last weekend in Dublin for my Aunt's 90th birthday and had quite a wonderful experience. I had booked this hotel through a travel website at a very competitive rate, but I was a little apprehensive at some of the mixed reviews in TripAdvisor. However, my entire experience of this hotel (and that of my 2 companions) was entirely... more

A lovley person Who even brought the luggage to our room because the porter was busy. We had a really nice meal in the... more

We were initially excited about our stay at this property. It seemed very nice on the website. Unfortuantely the view out our window was of a construction site. The building between the hotel and another building was being torn down and rebuilt. We woke up around 8am to construction underway and workers drilling and yelling. I would think they would... more

Undoubtedly a great location, but some rooms at the front do suffer from traffic noise. Rooms at the back are quieter but without views. Read that a refurbishment program is to be started soon and this is well overdue if the condition of our room was anything to go by. Decor, furniture and the bathroom were all old and scuffed.... more

Hotel was a great location by the park, obviously the posh part of Dublin. The staff were very nice - rooms were ok but the mini bar was empty and there was no soft light summer duvet, scratchy woolen sheets. Dublin was very nice but we have never seen so many shops in a such a small area! If you... more

Dublin City is a lovely place, but for some reason staff at this particular hotel were just plain obnoxious-even if it was Christmas time, Magic Glasses bar downstairs refused to bring me drinks upto the room and receptionist in the morning took 27 minutes to chck me out-and that with simple bill and with no extras!-Ended up literally flying to... more

I booked 3 rooms for 6 adults on lastminute.com. As this was a special surprise weekend away for one of our party I called about a month before the holiday to request good rooms on high floors. When we arrive we were informed that we had all been upgraded to suites, one of the rooms being number 1600, possibly the... more

Just returned home after 4 nights at the Stephens Green Hotel. While the hotel is listed as a 4 star establishment, I think what it really means is 3 stars for the accomodations (rooms and hotel) and 5 for the excellent location. The hotel is ideally situated near Grafton Street, etc., placed at a quiet corner on the SW side... more

Spent one night here on business. Location perfect for city centre. Was surprised at the high cost of wifi in rooms - not acceptable in this day. Did not eat in hotel. Would not have a problem with staying here again but it would not entice me if it was a non-business stay. more
