Stayed here for a holiday in August. The hotel is Fab, close to everything, and the staff is amazing. They only have showers but they are great. Food is good and decent portion sizes. I will stay here again. more

What you would expect from Premier Inn really. No frills, but clean and tidy. Staff ok. Stayed 8 nights and my shower was cold a couple of mornings and a bit tempremental. Don't think any of the rooms have baths. Restaurant is small and gets very busy, you can't put food onto your room bill which is a bit annoying.... more

Thank you so much for your review. I am glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. I am however upset to hear that you did not have hot water each morning. If you do remember what room you were in and could let me know I would be happy to look into it. Also the pictures you...

This is the 4th time that we have stayed here. We were a little sceptical as to what it would be like as it is the first time we were staying at the hotel since it had been taken over by Premier Inn but we needn't have worried as they have actually improved the hotel. The rooms have been freshly... more

Situated at 80 Ballater St, I stayed four nights.I found the room spacious and the bed comfortable. The room also had a walk in shower,LCD TV and Tea/Coffee making facilities. Breakfast was superb at a cost of £7.95 for as much as you like. This was a selection of Sausage(which is fantastic) Eggs,Beans,Tomatoes,Bacon,Mushroom,Scrambled egg.Toast,Croissants,Cereal,fruit.Anyway the list goes on.Hasten to add... more

i stayed in this hotel just before the change over and was utterly shocked at the mismanagement of this business,i complained to the general manager a big imposing woman of middle years about the smell of cigarette smoke in room 101 who replied that i must be imagining it as she runs a tight ship, and since 2005 no ones been... more

I stayed at the premier Inn for 1 night as I will be going to the Nautical College for 9 months starting August. The college is just across the road and I plan to rent a flat in the new gorbals area so I wanted to see the area in daylight and dark. I had no problems and I walked... more

I haven't stayed at the Tulip Inn, but checked the reviews out of curiosity because it's next door to my home. I was concerned to read the reviews that state this is in an unsafe area and that people are being advised to take taxis for safety reasons. I am a 26 year old female and have lived next to... more

Stayed 2 nights at this hotel for business. Was impressed with the cleanliness of the room and the bed was really comfortable, the facilities in the room were good. I had dinner in the hotel both nights. The restaurant is just off the lobby but is open plan so it was quite cold and draughty and where I was seated,... more

Booked in for a weekend with Tulip but discovered that it had converted to a Premier Inn 2 days before which made it very difficult to find! Excellent check in process but no smoking room stank of smoke and I discovered lots of cigarette ash on the window sill. Room was OK otherwise but had 2 single beds instead of... more

The hotel is sit in a unpleasant part of Glasgow, we had to taxi to and from , as we were advised this was best for our safety?(advised by locals) Booked our stay directly via the hotels webpage. When we were allocated the wrong room. Instead of an apology we were told that that was all there was. I asked... more
