If you must stay in Glasgow, you can't go wrong with this place. Rooms are comfortable and modern, and the iMac in the room with free internet access is a very nice touch. Breakfast is good quality with a reasonable selection. The location next to Finnieston Bridge is a bit out of the centre in a slightly deserted area, but... more

My boyfriend and myself stayed at the city inn for my birthday in May 07. The hotel is beautiful, bright and tastefully decorated. Our room was at the road side, but we hardly heard a thing (even with hundreds of screaming girls walking by after a Justin Timerlake concert). Have to say we had a great night and have booked to... more

Having read good reviews i was very excited about staying here....booked it as a treat for myself and girlfriend who were having an evening out in Glasgow. I booked with lastminute.com and when we arrived at the hotel gave the receptionist my booking references etc and she said they had no notes of booking being made but she was very... more

Stayed in the City Inn one Saturday evening in July. A little disappointed to find that the car park was closed, and although directed to the nearby SECC car park, I felt that it would not have been difficult for the hotel to advised of this in advance of my arrival. The hotel is ideally situated for the SECC and... more

Stayed 1 night heading north to Skye. Loved the cofortable rooms all with Apple computers and free wifi. The location isn't the best and you really need a taxi to get into the city centre which the staff can arrange very easily. Breakfast was excellent and unrushed. Its a great stop over and will stay again. more

We arrived quite early with our flight from Dublin, so took de train from Prestwick into Central Station of Glasgow. On the way I remembered I had not told the hotel bout our early arrival, so gave them a call. They did not make any problems and told us a room would be ready as soon as we got there.... more

My daughter and I have just returned from this lovely hotel. We had an overnight stay as we were attending a pop concert. The hotel is a short walk from the SECC and that is the reason we chose the hotel . Reception was welcoming and we were informed of the location of the restaurant , our room etc The... more

I stayed at the City Inn for a week on business and was really impressed. This hotel seems to be aimed towards people on business rather than tourists and having that in mind, it's a great place. The lobby/reception is small but very efficient. It's modern and bright and leads on to a fairly small bar and a lovely restaurant.... more

We used this Hotel as we were attending an event at the adjacent Exhibition Venue. We booked through a Travel Agent as this was one of the closest hotels so we weren't really sure what to expect for what we had paid. We were actually suprised by how close the Hotel was. When we stayed we were both very surprised... more

At the hotel we were very impressed, nice modern decor, friendly staff, excellent location for SECC. Literally 10 mins walk away. Definitely recommended and wll certainly... more
