Touring Scotland from Canada I came across this unique Guest House, situated in beautiful grounds. I was given a very hospitable welcome by the owners, Fiona and Colin. My husband & I have stayed several times at the Old Station over the last two years and it just gets better and better. The accommodation is superb with very well appointed comfortable bedrooms with great showers. The public rooms are beautifully furnished and have roaring log fires and fresh flowers. We booked it for a special night away and were disappointed as the kitchen was not clean and the furniture in the sitting room grubby.There were no fresh flowers as stated in the website.The bathroom and bedroom were fine but the decked area would not be a pleasure to sit on due to bird mess although the grounds are lovely. more

Lovely place, very unusual and very good value. Fantastic location £6 - 7 in a taxi to St Andrews. Mix up with booking meant we only got one night rather than two.
