Stayed with part of a stag party for the Fringe Festival. Stayed on a 4 bed dorm with the others I was travelling with. We spend one night in this hostel and got about 3 hours of sleep. There is a bar/cafe in the middle of the building, so the drunken shouting and screaming echoed from the walls and the windows have absolutely no sound proofing. This is one of best hostels I've seen. It is better than some chain hotels, the rooms are nice, clean linen, internet terminals, food, great location in Edinburgh. Staff are friendly too. HIghly recommended. more

We stayed here for 1 night and I really liked this hostel. Brand new, despite it is located in an old building, very clean and functional.
