We went to Scotland during the winter because we had a few days off. Booked this Guest House at random. I must say it is a GEM. Very comfortable double room and very attentive staff. Great place on the southside of Edinburgh. Charming location. Very quite, serene and peaceful yet close to a main artery... Dalkeith Road. No complains. We booked a double but were upgraded to a JUMBO family room becaue it was vacant. Good portions at breakfast. Worth a visit. A whole team of very willing staff. more

Great place. Spotless, clean and well managed. Situated in a street that has a lot of other guest houses. Huge breakfast and well presented with very very welcoming staff. I booked an ensuite double room but they upgraded me to a large and spacious family room just because it was available. Thoroughly recommend it to anyone visiting Scotland. more

I would recommend anyone whom is thinking of staying at this guesthouse to avoid it all costs. First of all there is NO reception area. None of the staff are from the U.K and barely speak English.
